MASI OPTS FOR ORGANIC CULTIVATION
14 April 2016
As from the 2014 vintage, Poderi BellOvile (80% Sangiovese, 15% Canaiolo, 5% Ciliegiolo), the intense, perfumed red wine from Tuscany produced on Tenute Serego Alighieri at Cinigiano in the Val d’Orcia, boasts full organic certification, as does Passo Blanco 2015 from the Masi Tupungato estate, a blend of Argentinian and Venetian grapes (60% Pinot Grigio, 40% Torrontés) coming from Masi’s completely eco-sustainable estate in the Mendoza region of Argentina.

Masi operates by favouring the natural ecosystem, promoting biodiversity and the environment by applying the necessary vineyard management practices to ensure the maintenance of a natural balance. In particular, in the vineyards in Argentina, it has integrated its own style with the surrounding habitat by creating an important oasis of rich biodiversity from the point of view of fauna and native flora.
