ARGENTINA WINE AWARDS: CORBEC 2015
20/10/17
New recognition for Corbec 2015 by Argentina Wine Awards, the most important tasting competition in Latin America which gives prizes to new releases of Argentinian wines.

The jury gave Corbec 2015 a score of 90/100 and a badge of excellence as an organic wine produced on the Masi Tupungato estate in Mendoza.

Corbec is made as a blend of Corvina, with its cherry flavours and intense fruits-of-the-forest aromas, with the strength and tannicity of Malbec, all modified with the expertise that comes with Masi’s application of the Appassimento technique. Already recognised by James Suckling as one of the 100 Best Wines of the Andes, Corbec’s new organic status confirms its character as a unique full-bodied wine once more, much praised by prestigious international juries.

Corbec comes from an environment enriched with the presence of native flora and fauna. With full respect for this unique site, Masi has created a unique environment for eco-sustainability where a notable oasis of biodiversity and organic agriculture thrive alongside each other.
