We are proud to have received the Ecofriendly Prize from the historic Guida Vinibuoni d'Italia. Editors Mario Busso and Roberto Pedrazzi explain that this is "in recognition of the company’s projects to safeguard the local environment and vineyards, as well as the implementation of energy-saving plans and, not least, the production of wine in a way that safeguards the health and well-being of the consumer".

Care and respect for the environment are part of the Masi philosophy and culture, and run through all phases of production, from the vineyard to the cellars to the management of the company’s offices and production plants. Eco-projects active at the moment include one to manage vineyards on organic production lines, one to reduce emissions of CO2 in the atmosphere, and one to increase the production of green energy from renewable sources.
